Educators from across the county gathered at Dutchess BOCES’ Conference Center on Tuesday, May 13, for the NYSED Statewide: Numeracy Briefs Meeting.

Twenty first year students from Dutchess BOCES’ Career & Technical Institute (CTI) are now members of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) following an induction ceremony that was held May 1 at the Conference Center.

Nick “Sunshine” Tokman, a cast member of the long-running Discovery Channel show “The Deadliest Catch,” visited Dutchess BOCES on May 2 to share his remarkable life story with students, while encouraging them to pursue their dreams.

Students in the Fashion Design & Merchandising program at the Career & Technical Institute (CTI) strutted their stuff on the runway during the second annual Fashion Expo on April 30 where representatives from real fashion firms judged their designs.

Danielle Rocco accomplished a Dutchess BOCES Career and Technical Institute first. The senior from Rhinebeck High School is studying to become a nursing assistant and will be representing the school at the national competition in Georgia in June after taking the top spot in that category at the SkillsUSA Statewide Competition last week.

Resilience Academy’s PBIS Squad is moving forward with its goal of organizing and expanding the school’s library and is seeking your help through a book drive.

Dutchess  BOCES is looking for an experienced school administrator to help lead the agency as its deputy superintendent.

Nineteen students proudly wore their Dutchess BOCES Bulldogs jerseys and represented the Salt Point campus with pride at the Hudson Valley Special Olympics Regional Aquatics & Basketball Competition at Marist University March 30.
