Statement of Non-Discrimination

Dutchess BOCES offers employment and educational opportunities, including but not limited to Career and Technical Education, Salt Point Center, Resilience Academy, in district programs, and Adult Learning, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or any other protected category under federal or state law; and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. Inquiries regarding this non-discrimination policy may be directed to Civil Rights Coordinator(s) listed below.   These officials will provide information, including complaint procedures to any citizen, student or employee who feels that his or her rights may have been violated by the BOCES or its officials.

The Dutchess BOCES offers a number of Career and Technical educational (“CTE”) offerings which can be located at www.dcboces.org/cti.  Eligibility and admissions criteria are available to all students.  Each component district makes its own determination due to limited class sizes.

Dutchess BOCES will take steps to assure that the lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admissions and participation in CTE programs, along with all of its programs.

Inquiries regarding discrimination listed above may be made to Norah Merritt at the contact information below. Inquiries may also be made to the United States Department of Education, by emailing OCR’s Discrimination Complaint Form or your own signed letter to ocr@ed.gov. For more information please see, https://www.ed.gov/laws-and-policy/civil-rights-laws/file-complaint.
