Dutchess BOCES will be conducting an early dismissal drill on Tuesday, Nov. 25. This is an annual state requirement. Students will be dismissed no more than 15 minutes prior to their normal dismissal times and will be transported by their home school district. Please make appropriate arrangements for the early arrival of your children as a result of this drill.

Dutchess BOCES’ Human Resources Network Mini Series began this September, giving employees pathways for professional learning and providing resources to support their collective talent and help them grow. There are also two external-facing consortiums for BOCES’ component districts to learn about the Educators’ Employee Assistance Group (EAP) and Regional Certification Office.
Students in the Career & Technical Institute’s (CTI) Security & Law classes created healthy meal plans that were prepared by students in Chef Instructor Amanda Scoca’s Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management morning class after going through officer wellness training and a nutrition unit. Both are mandated by New York State’s Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Students in Resilience Academy’s Pegasus program traveled to Meadowbrook Farm in Wappingers Falls Oct. 10 to practice some of the things they are learning about in class and have some educational fun.
