Come explore all the opportunities available in the trades on Wednesday, May 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Dutchess BOCES Conference Center as Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino brings a Skilled Trades Fair to the area. The free event is open to all Dutchess County residents, and no RSVP is required.
"Our Skilled Trades Fairs are essential to strengthening our community and local economy," Serino said. "By partnering with Dutchess BOCES, we're further expanding our reach, giving residents of all ages the opportunity to explore diverse career paths and discover options they may never have considered. Whether someone is launching their future or reinventing it, events like this open doors, spark curiosity, and strengthen the talent powering our community."
There will be more than 30 businesses and educational institutions attending the event. Dutchess BOCES' Adult Learning Institute and Dutchess Community College will be there to speak with those interested in enhancing their skills in various fields or, perhaps, changing careers, while Dutchess BOCES' Career and Technical Institute will be there to showcase the classes it offers to help our high school students prepare for careers in the trades.
