Basic Business Office Skills – Career Readiness

Students are guided through nine (9) modules of instruction using computer instruction tools and classroom teacher led classes to learn file creation and saving, internet and email protocols.  MS-Word standard features and MS-Excel basic spreadsheets.  Workplace readiness topics are integrated with computer skills, for example, preparing resumes and cover letters with MS-Word and budgets with MS-Excel.  Some preparation for Civil Service Typist exams will also be included.  If you are looking for your first job in an office this class is for you.
