Dutchess BOCES has been revising and fine tuning the plans for its capital project. The project will consolidate all K-12 programs on one campus on Salt Point Turnpike.

The Agency is now preparing to send the design plans to the New York State Education Department for approval.  Competitive bidding will occur in spring of 2020.

This is the first major capital project for Dutchess BOCES in 50 years. The alternative high school will be relocated from rented space to new space adjoining the Career and Technical Institute.  Both CTI and the Salt Point Center, where we serve K-8 students from all across the County, will see upgrades and some renovations.

Residents of Dutchess County approved the $36.8 million capital project last December. The project, expected to be completed by 2022, will provide program flexibility and allow BOCES to expand offerings.
