Construction Technology with NCCER Core Certification
Construction Technology provides learners with key knowledge and the principles of construction. Classes are a combination of textbook/classwork and hands-on opportunities to build an understanding of the entry-level skills necessary in the field. This course uses the basic core curriculum created by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Its modules cover topics such as basic safety, communication skills, and introductions to construction math, hand tools, power tools and construction drawings.
Classes are taught by a certified NCCER Core Instructor who has career experience working in the field of construction. Career Counselors will support students to learn about available careers in the field, develop resumes and interview skills and build professionalism throughout the course.
