Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Whether you are stressed, dealing with difficult life situations, interested in
meditation/mindfulness, or just looking to live a fuller life, this course is for you. Let Scott
Bukofsky guide you in this 10-session course on the practice of mindfulness. To be mindful is
to be awake in the present moment, instead of being lost in thought or just going through the
motions in life. Topics include a variety of mindfulness practices (sitting, moving, walking, etc.),
exploring ways of responding to difficulties instead of just reacting, difficult communications,
and much more. Students should bring Yoga Mat, if available.

Introduction to Mindfullness

A casual, fun, gentle introduction to mindfulness for accessing the wisdom, well-being, and
wholeness within each of us. Course covers several mediation practices - sitting, walking, and
body awareness. Potential benefits include reduced reactions to stress, better sleep, and an
increased sense of well-being. Students will be provided practical advice and material to support
a continued home meditation practice.
Three Weekly Saturday sessions will meet 9:00am - 10:30am.
