Dutchess BOCES is partnering with Assemblymember Didi Barrett, the Public Utility Law Project and others to host a Utility Bill Clinic April 16 to provide information and resources to community members who may need assistance.
The event will take place from 4-7 p.m. at Dutchess BOCES Conference Center, 5 BOCES Road, Poughkeepsie.
At the event, attendees will be able to meet with representatives from the following partners:

  • New York State Department of Public Service
  • Cornell Cooperative Extension Smart Energy Choices – Mid Hudson
  • Central Hudson
  • NYS Department of Community and Family Services
  • Habitat for Humanity Dutchess
  • Dutchess Outreach
  • NY Connects/Dutchess Office for the Aging
  • Rebuilding Together Dutchess
  • Hudson River Housing
  • Dutchess Works
  • Youth OneStop
  • Sustainable Westchester
  • and more

The partners will be able to help determine options for utility assistance, help with applications and connect attendees with programs that may be able to help.
Plus, attendees will be able to learn about programs Dutchess BOCES offers that may help them with employment, including our Adult Learning Institute and the upcoming Educators Job Fair on April 18.
