Agriculture research yields top spot for CTI student

Three Dutchess BOCES Plant and Animal Sciences students traveled to Syracuse to present projects at the 2024 Future Farmers of America state competition, with one returning with first place in their division.
Maleah Bishop, Lucy Mann and Bryanna Coakley competed individually.


Pegasus students paint the future of their program

Pegasus students are painting the future of their program through a new legacy project. With the help of art teacher Michael Hollick, Pegasus students set out to create a mural that all current and future Pegasus students will have a hand in.


CTI’s Scott receiving community service award

Career & Technical Institute special education teacher Erin Scott will receive a Community Service Award for Excellence from the Mid-Hudson School Study Council at its annual meeting and awards celebration in the Fieldstone Middle School auditorium in Thiells May 8.
“It’s nice to be recognized,” said Scott. “I just do what I do because it’s the right thing for the kids.”


BOCES honors food service staff

 Today marked the first time Dutchess BOCES celebrated School Lunch Hero Day (May 3), honoring food services staff who work hard to provide healthy meals to students across campus.
