My name is Dawn Pressimone and I am the Awards Chair for NYLA/SSL. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that there are several scholarships that you can apply for to help you attend a SSL Conference and a couple awards to apply for to honor an administrator. This year's conference will be May 28-30 in Verona at Turning Stone Conference and Event Center. The deadline for these applications is January 21, 2020.

Registration is open for the 21st Annual Fall Into Books Children's and Teen Literature Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, October 25th at the Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel and Conference Center in Kingston, NY. Held annually, Fall Into Books brings together school and public librarians from eight counties within the Hudson Valley for a day of literacy, discussion, networking and insight.
