Dutchess BOCES

This course is geared for students in 10th and/or 11th grade who would have previously been on track for an IEP diploma or students classified with disabilities who are pursuing a Regents or Local diploma. Students will be given a foundation in career skills and will explore a number of career options. Additional services include career counseling, career research and work based learning opportunities. Upon successful completion, students may enter CTE programming. Students who successfully complete this program will be eligible for the CDOS Credential.

This program is designed to develop the basic entry level skills in small engine operation, maintenance, and repair. Students who complete both Small Engine and Turf Equipment & ATV Maintenance will be eligible for one unit of Math credit.
