Dutchess BOCES Alternative HS teacher Lisah Babb wins the 2017 Award for Teaching Excellence, presented by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council.
Lisah Babb, a special education/English teacher at the Dutchess BOCES Alternative High School, has been awarded the 2017 Award for Teaching Excellence by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council. Ms. Babb was selected for the honor from a pool of nominees from seven Mid-Hudson counties.
The Study Council was established in 1949 as a non-profit corporation to serve the needs of its member school districts in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
The award was presented at the Council’s annual dinner meeting at Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh on April 27th. Each year, awards are presented to honor excellence in teaching, administration, and school board service.
