Lisah Babb, a special education/English teacher at the Dutchess BOCES Alternative High School, has been awarded the 2017 Award for Teaching Excellence by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council.  Ms. Babb was selected for the honor from a pool of nominees from seven Mid-Hudson counties.

The Study Council was established in 1949 as a non-profit corporation to serve the needs of its member school districts in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
