In addition to classes at our Salt Point Center, Dutchess BOCES staff members teach special education students in school buildings throughout the county.
Teachers provide a structured, nurturing environment and mainstreaming opportunities when appropriate. Many students also receive services in physical/occupational therapies; speech/language therapy; vision and mobility; and counseling.
Dutchess BOCES focuses on student performance, employment readiness, acquisition of daily living skills, and annual yearly progress.
