Objective:
Maps are more than just lines and
colors with city labels. After learning and applying the use of a pie chart,
students gather important physical and demographic data from these different
maps related to Canada's geography. Students
will write one fact on a Maple Leaf for display.
Materials Needed:
Select the Geo Maps link. Arrow down the page to find the following map links: Immigration to Canada, Canada's Physical Make-up, and Travel To & From Canada. You will need to use the <Back> arrow from the task bar before selecting the next links. Use the information from the maps to answer the questions on page 103 (Your Handout).
