This is a busy time for Santa Claus, so some willing helpers at the Dutchess BOCES administration building stepped in to make sure two families were delivered some holiday joy.
After learning the families of two students, one from the Salt Point Center and one from the alternative high school, needed assistance this holiday season the entire staff at the administration building started a collection. A generous $550 was donated and Santa’s helpers went shopping. They bought and wrapped dozens of gifts.
“We had such a great time purchasing the items and wrapping everything,” said Stephanie Frasier. “It feels really good to give to those in need at this special time of year.”
Cindy Cameron, Patty Cordata, Barbara Costakis, Stephanie Frasier, Mary Grunow, Karen Runza, and Lois Schwarze are surely on Santa’s “Nice List.”
