The BOCES Annual Meeting was held on April 14th at 11:30 in the dining room facility of the Career and Technical Institute at 49 BOCES Rd. in Poughkeepsie. The meeting and budget presentation were part of the larger EXPO activities that morning. The Annual Meeting was followed by the regular April meeting of the BOCES Board of Education. A video of the meeting has been provided.
The Administrative Budget for Dutchess BOCES is determined by votes of the 13 component school boards in Dutchess County on April 24th. At that time the component boards will also decide by vote the members of the Dutchess BOCES Board of Education. Three seats are open.
Mr. Ed McCormick is running for his seat on the BOCES Board representing the Arlington Central School District. He is unopposed for this seat.
Mr. Rob Rubin is running for his seat on the BOCES Board representing the Wappinger Central School District. He is unopposed for this seat.
2 individuals are running for the BOCES Board seat representing Webutuck Central School District: the incumbent is Mr. Dale Culver and the other candidate is Mr. Richard Keller-Coffey.
