- The Arts Education Partnership [AEP] is a national coalition of arts, education, business, philanthropic and government organizations that demonstrate and promote the essential role of the arts in the learning and development of every child and in the improvement of America's schools.
- The Association of Teaching Artists [ATA] is a non-profit professional organization whose mission is to strengthen and serve Teaching Artists from all disciplines in New York State. The Association of Teaching Artists strives to create a community of professional Teaching Artists by:
- Empowering the practice of Teaching Artists' as a profession;
- Providing a network for communication and the exchange of resources;
- Shaping the field of Arts in Education;
- Providing advocacy, training, and professional development; and,
- Publicly recognizing distinguished achievement.
- Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to being a premier provider of videoconferencing services and program content.
- Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education [CAPE]: Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education improves student learning through partnering with schools to integrate the arts into curriculum.
- The Dutchess County Arts Council was established in 1964 as a private, nonprofit arts service organization to promote and coordinate cultural activity and development in Dutchess County.
- New York State Education Department: Curriculum, Instruction & Instructional Technology: The Arts
- New York State Education Department Virtual Learning System: The purpose of the New York State Education Department Virtual Learning System is to encourage the use of the internet as a tool for teaching and learning and to provide help to classroom teachers in locating and using internet resources for instruction.
- New York State Summer School of the Arts: Summer residential programs for New York State high school students which provide intensive pre-professional training with internationally acclaimed artists and artistic companies.
- New York State Theatre Education Association advocates drama/theatre in our schools and communities on state and local levels and addresses state mandates and drama/theatre education by addressing curriculum development, assessment issues, standards, and certification/licensing.
- Partners for Arts Education: Partners for Arts Education inspires learning and leadership for arts-in-education in Central New York and throughout New York State. We provide funding and support to deepen and enrich educational experiences in and through the arts for students, teachers and artists.
- Performers and Programs: A Database Resource of Entertaining & Educational Programs: The New York State Performers & Programs Database began as a regional performer database encompassing the Capital District area during a collaborative LSTA grant called Families Read, with Sue Rokos from the Mohawk Valley Library System and Mary Fellows from the Upper Hudson Library System. From this regional database the need for a statewide database became apparent. The New York State Performers & Programs Database serves all public libraries in New York State and is a statewide collaboration of all the public library systems in the state.
- Theatre: A Resource Guide for Standards-Based Instruction: The NYS Education Department, in collaboration with the New York State Theatre Education Association [NYSTEA], has produced this new publication.
