English as a Second Language
The English as a Second Language Program is for adults and is taught twice weekly for three hours.
Facts You Should Know
- ESL has open enrollment throughout the year
- Registration takes approximately 1 hour
- Focus is on vocabulary development, listening comprehension, and speaking skills
- Four levels of classes: beginning to high intermediate
- Must have lived in the USA at least six months
- Must have some English vocabulary
- Other Literacy/GED programs available

Our goals are to provide
- a welcoming environment for English language learners of all language and cultural backgrounds
- individualized instructional support to promote swift English language and literacy development
- oppportunities for ESL students to be fully and bilingually successful in the local and world community

It is necessary to take a FREE placement test before enrolling in these classes.
