Certified Nursing Assistant

The demand for Certified Nursing Assistants has never been greater! Prepare to be a nursing assistant who provides quality care in various health care settings, including, but not limited to, nursing homes and hospitals. Develop basic nursing skills through lectures, laboratory demonstrations, practice, and clinical expierence.

Strict adherence to attendance requirements is critical to be eligible to attend clinicals and to satisfactorily complete the program.

Upon succesful completion of the program students must take State Certification Exam. Excellent attendance is required to satisfy training requirements. High School Diploma is NOT required! Payment Plan Available.

Prerequisites: Math & Reading Entrance Exam.

Materials: Physical Examination, Uniform & Shoes Not Provided.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Upon successful completion of the program, students must take a State Certification Exam.

Licensed Practical Nursing [LPN]

Prepare for a rewarding health career in a growing labor market. We are committed to providing excellent, competitively priced education with clinical and classroom instruction. Application process begins in Febuary and is on a competitive basis for classes starting in September and January. You may qualify for financial aid.

LPN Program Process

    1. Complete and return Licensed Practical Nursing application. [Applicants must be a high school graduate, or hold a GED].
    2. Once a completed application is on file an applicant will be notified of the next available entrance exam date [Fee required].
    3. The Admissions Committee will review applications, qualifications, exam evaluations, and transcripts.
    4. Applicants will be notified of the Admission Committees decision by mail.
    5. Admission testing begins in March.

LPN Program Requirements

    • Pass each grading area with a minimum of 75%.
    • Pass all clinical components.
    • Complete a minimum of 1000 hours of instruction.

    • CTI
    • Traditional Program: 1,000 Hours
    • 10 Months: September – June; Monday - Friday
    • Full-time
        • 8:30 – 2:45 [classroom] and 8:00 – 3:00 [clinical]
    • Part-time
        • 1st year: 12:00 – 2:45 [classroom] and 12:00 – 3:00 [clinical]
        • 2nd year: 8:30 – 11:00 [classroom] and 8:00 – 11:00 [clinical]
