Human & Public Services

	Cosmetology Cosmetology is a two year program. Students learn the care of hair, nails, and skin in preparation for the New York State Licensing Exam. [1,000 hours]
	Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management Culinary Arts is a one year program for juniors or seniors, introducing the student to skills in food preparation, baking & pastry arts, safety, and sanitation. Restaurant Management, also a one year program for juniors or seniors, prepares the student for entry level employment skills as a culinary/hospitality professional.
	Early Childhood Education This one or two year program provides students with an understanding of the physical, social, and mental development of children. Eligible students may receive 6 college credits at DCC or 4 at SUNY Cobleskill.
	New Visions: Education This is a one year Education Career Exploration program designed for college bound high school seniors planning to enter careers in Education. Students may receive 6 DCC credits.
	New Visions: Law This is a one year Law Career Exploration program designed for college bound high school seniors planning to enter careers in Law. Successful students may receive 9 college credits through DCC.
	Security & Law Enforcement This one or two year program is designed to provide training to 11th and 12th grade students in the fields of Security, Corrections, and Law Enforcement.
